Kaitlyn’s Kloset – MN is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to providing families with the items they need to raise their children, while also decreasing the stigma that often comes with needing and receiving help. Kaitlyn’s Kloset provides a welcoming space to all people, allowing them to shop through a resource center full of items that they can take home to their children, with no cost or payment involved. When you don’t know where to turn, let Kaitlyn’s Kloset be your village.
Here are two of the key ways we serve:
Drop In Resource Center
Kaitlyn’s Kloset operates a resource center housed out of Saints Martha and Mary Episcopal Church in Eagan, Minnesota. Individuals and families are able to come “shop” (for free) for items for their children, as well as food and personal care items. Shoppers also have the ability to meet with Kaitlyn (a licensed social worker) to discuss community resources and additional help. No appointment necessary during drop in hours. All are welcome.
Give Help + Get Help Community
Our thriving Facebook-based community of over 20,000 members is designed to connect those in need of a helping hand with those equipped to meet someone’s need. This moderated group is committed to the safety and privacy of its members.
Kaitlyn’s Kloset provides a welcoming space and services to all people regardless of caregiver status (mother, father, foster parent, caregiver, etc), race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, citizenship, marital status, ability or disability, or any other discriminatory factor.
Simply put, we’re here for you when you need care, comfort, connections, and community.
Since we began in 2015, when Kaitlyn Stock was just in high school, we’ve been honored to impact the lives of hundreds of families at times of deepest need. These families often find their way back to our community to return the favor.

I am 23 years old and the founder of Kaitlyn’s Kloset – MN. I have lived in Minnesota my whole life and am proud to call it my home. I have a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls, and I use my degree in both my work with Kaitlyn’s Kloset and in my daily life. I have had the opportunity to see the world through a lot of people’s eyes which allows me to form connections with the people I serve, while also understanding the circumstances that surround them in their time of need. The biggest thing that Kaitlyn’s Kloset has taught me is how to be an advocate for marginalized groups and people. I am a true believer in the statement that we can change the world, so I’m here to do that.
Operations Manager, Vice President
I am a wife of 26 years and a mother of two grown daughters. I have almost a decade of experience working in both the public and charter school systems. I know first-hand what it feels like to have to make difficult choices while juggling the expenses of raising a family. Helping lessen this burden a bit, with the clients who visit our Resource Center, truly fills my soul. Maintaining a safe space for marginalized populations is very important to me. Audrey Hepburn said it best when she said, “As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.”
I grew up in Minnesota and chose to stay and develop a career in public service. I have worked for the State for the past 25 years in the technology field. Outside of work, I fill my time with outdoor activities including 4 wheeling and snowmobiling. I’ve been around Kaitlyn’s Kloset since it’s beginning and now have been given an opportunity to help support the mission. I’m excited to be associated with the team.
Secretary, Community Outreach
I am a Wife and Mom of 3. I own a small online business called MammaGlam T-Shirts & More.
I am a long time Kaitlyn’s Kloset-MN member and supporter. In my spare time I run a very large facebook group called South of the River Mamas. I also love volunteering and giving back where I can. Being a former teen mom and a mom to a child who has special needs, I have seen the need for help within my community first hand. Nothing fills my cup more than helping those who need it most.
Board Member, Client Experience
I am a wife and mother of 3 with 6 grandchildren!
I have always loved to volunteer and give back to my community. Having been homeless myself with my three children, I know what it is to feel so emotional and scared. To feel vulnerable and also to be afraid to ask for help. Maybe even worried that there are others out there who need help worse than me. I want to give back to the community that helped me in my time of need. I want others to understand that at any point in time, we can be the ones facing problems. Life sometimes throws curveballs and to utilize the quote, it takes a village. I am currently working for the State of Minnesota in IT and I love my job. I have worked for them for 15 years. Spouse: Gary Anderson
Board Member, Social Media
I am 33 years old. I am a proud wife and a mother to two elementary aged children. I was born and raised in interior Alaska and moved to Minnesota in 2015 for the incredible weather. Professionally, I spent eight years in banking before becoming a stay at home mom for seven years. Currently, I work as a paraprofessional in my local school district which has been an amazing new chapter in my life. I love to travel, sing and learn new things. I am excited and humbled for the opportunity to serve my community and others through Kaitlyn’s Kloset.
Dana Lowery Bain
I am a Wife & Mother of 5.
I love to volunteer and find ways to give back to my community. As a child growing up, I often saw the needs of others and could do nothing to help. My mission now is to always help when I can. I was also a single mom for years & know first-hand how great it feels to receive help & support without any judgement! Spouse: Richard Bain
Sr. Administrative Assistant for HealthPartners Credentialing – 17 Years
Guest Services Supervisor- Target Center & US Bank Stadium- 5 years
I am a husband and father of two wonderful daughters. I am currently a Standards Manager at Uponor North America. I have lived in the Twin Cities metro area my entire life. I love to volunteer and to be able to do that with friends and family is even more rewarding to me. I look at the world in a positive way and strive to make the world a better place one day at a time.
